I might have the perfect thing for you in terms of water proofing not only your pool but also your outside structure especially for the roof part and for the basement.... for those willing to build a fondation out of papercrete. It also seem  to be quite effective for any waterproofing!  take look at this site...

If you want to see some videos of the capacity of this product, here his the other link    http://www.naulin.ca/

Hope it will help more than one!!!!

If Clyde's pool has gone 6 years with no leakage, I may try that for
a hot tub (which would be in the sunroom and not part of the
house).  As for the tubs in the house I think I would feel better
with fiberglass on top of the papercrete.  I would sleep better
knowing that I don't have a leak to my papercrete foundation!  If
the hot tub leaked, it wouldn't have any effect to the foundation.

I wonder what the waterproof sealant for swimming pools is made out
of and how it would hold up to conditions of a roof as well as the
cost compared to other methods.  Does anyone have any insight on
this?
